How to display/customize events on the archive page using shortcode?

Simple WP Events provides shortcodes to make this easy for you. All you need to do is to paste the shortcode into the archive page.

Displays events as an archive list.

You can customize the shortcode using the following list of attributes:

  • title: Add the title in the double quotes. (default: empty)
  • category: Display events from a specific category by using category ID. (default: empty – showing events from all categories.)
  • type: Show events from a specific type (seminar/webinar/client-event/other-event). (default: empty – shows all events)
  • exc_type: Hide events for a specific type (seminar/webinar/client-event/other-event). (default: empty – shows all events)
