Simple WP Events Settings – General


All the General settings are available under this tab

  1. Timezone: Timezone is a mandatory setting here. As default, New York has been set as the timezone. You can customize it according to your requirements.
  2. Event URL Slug: URL slug comes after the domain extension. It helps to identify a particular page on a website in an easy-to-read form. You can enter the slug according to your requirements. Do you know, that writing a good slug for your page or post can positively affect your SEO? Choose it wisely!
  3. Event Menu name: Enter the post menu name which fits your needs here, 
  4. Archive Meta Description: Enter Meta Description to be displayed for Archive Page. It is the small blurb that appears underneath your website on the SERP that includes information about your page. It is designed to provide users with a brief summary of the content on your page so that users know if the page will answer their questions.
  5. Privacy Policy:  Add a Privacy Policy legal document here which describes how your website collects, handles, and processes the data of its customers and visitors. 
  6. Remove Data on Delete: Enable this checkbox to remove all the data from the database when the plugin is deleted/uninstalled.

Once done, hit the Save Changes button to save your settings.
